Painted artwork of a nude woman with long hair, holding a large bouquet of colorful flowers, against a dark red background.
Living room with a wooden sideboard decorated with a potted plant, a black bowl, a small stack of books, and a red table lamp. A large painting of a nude woman with flowers is mounted on the wall above the sideboard. There is a black leather chair with metal armrests, a wooden coffee table with an open book, a blue rug, and a large window with natural light.

In grief, we are stripped bare. Left without pretense, without the layers we use to shield ourselves from the world. The subject stands in that rawness, her vulnerability unhidden. In her arms, she carries florals: a weight and a comfort, a living emblem of resilience. Their colors stand out against the deep, heavy background, reaching toward (and creating their own) light. This piece is a reminder that even when we feel most undone, life still offers something to hold on to.
