Sandy City Brand & Campaign Initiatives

SmartSandy Campaign

Sandy is a city that values efficiency and sustainability. To help encourage more energy-conscious living, the city launched SmartSandy — a sub-brand focused on educating residents about improving energy efficiency. In collaboration with Communications Director Eric Richards, I developed the branding and logo identity for the initiative.

Sustainable Sandy 360º Campaign

I led the creative direction and design for Sustainable Sandy 360º, a citywide sustainability initiative launched by Sandy in partnership with local organizations to promote environmental awareness and community action. The campaign included a full visual identity system, social media graphics, educational materials, recycling and sustainability signage, and internal resources supporting the city’s long-term energy and conservation goals. The initiative focused on increasing awareness around recycling, energy efficiency, air quality, and sustainable habits, ultimately contributing to measurable increases in community engagement and recycling participation.

Sandy City Passport Campaign

When Sandy’s passports and records department identified recurring issues with residents arriving unprepared for passport appointments, I led the campaign creative to help educate citizens on passport requirements and streamline the process for both residents and staff. I wrote, art directed, and creative directed the campaign video, while also designing the supporting visual assets used across digital and print touchpoints. The campaign combined clear educational messaging with an approachable, entertaining tone to improve awareness around required documentation before arriving at City Hall.
